Donating Books

We accept donations of used books in good condition at our warehouse behind 32 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am - noon.
Directions to the Warehouse

Due to space restrictions, we normally accept no more than 12 boxes a week from a single household. Please call ahead (609 921 7479) if you wish to donate more than 12 boxes at once.

The Bryn Mawr-Wellesley Book Sale raises money for scholarships by selling books, thus the books we take in must be in good condition and saleable. Please check the list below before donating your books. Disposing of books we cannot sell is costly and we are trying to limit expenses in order to maximize the scholarship money available.

BOOKS WE CANNOT ACCEPT

• Encyclopedias (except the Britannica 11th edition)
• Law books, Medical books, scholarly monographs
• Business books greater than 10 years old
• Magazines and journals (except art magazines)
• Reader's Digest Condensed Books
• Harlequin and Silhouette romances
• Textbooks in any field
• Outdated materials such as software manuals more than 2 years old, almanacs, restaurant & hotel guides
• The Life Nature Library, The Life Science Library, and The Life World Library
• Anything in such bad condition that you would not read it in bed as well as books that are heavily underlined
• Books that haven't sold in another book sale. If they couldn't sell them we can't either
  
  We are happy to receive commercial audio and VHS tapes, CDs and DVDs.
